Life Under Water

                   Life under water
Do you know how is life below the water?
Is it full of chaos or does it have discipline and order?
Orange, silver ,black, golden ,red all colourful fish going to school together
Holding each others hand as they bid goodbye to their mother.
What is the lesson the teacher has planned today?
Will it be like yesterday and make them happy and gay.
Will it be another lecture which had always sounded similiar
Learning how to  face danger and survive together,
Lobsters roaming around with starfish,
Communicating with each other about humans and their ways so selfish.
A group of dolphins  caught my  attention
All waiting for one another to jump without any apprehension.
They would  jump in and out of the water,
The lessons on survival were not for them to bother.
Just then a human threw a net and caught them all.
Life is beautiful under the water
But enemies on land make them suffer.

Father’s Words

It was the happiest day of her life. She was glowing with the success of her efforts. She had just uploaded the first cooking class of her mother. The response she got was tremendous .Her mother had got one million likes and had become an overnight sensation.
After the death of her father her mother had gone into depression. There was nothing that could make her happy, all the relatives and her close friends tried everything but in vain.
Gayatri, her daughter was a strong girl she knew she had lost her father but in no way she could let go of her only lifeline left .
One day while watching few youtube videos,an idea struck in her mind. She remembered her mother had always taken a keen interest in cooking. She had made up her mind. Her father often told her ,”you should always have an aim my dear child….an aimless person is like a pen without ink.”Her mother too had somehow become aimless, she had lost interest in life. The person she had wanted to be with throughout her life had left her leaving a void in her life forever.
Gayatri started invoking the interest of her mother in cooking once again.Next day onwards she demanded her mother to make different things for her.Her mother though reluctant tried to make whatever Gayatri demanded with the best of her ability. She soon started calling her friends home and with their help her mother gradually drifted her mind towards a new beginning.
She knew she could not get her father back but could atleast spot her father inside her mother in the form of an ink inside a pen.

STARDOM AND SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT

They are in a turmoil no one knows
Looking elated as they get ready for their shows.

Maintaing a high profile and looking young and handsome.
A seed deep within them paving way for sadness and depression.

Surrounded by people the moment they come out,
Lonely they stand filled with millions of doubt.

Preaching with their acting is their talent,
Applying it in their lives they go silent.
With love in heart and fame in their mind
A lot of things at hand they want to bind.

Talking gives them a lot of monetary gain,
Yet they can’t use it to get rid of their pain.
They stand with one another looking very jovial,
Laughing loudly and sounding very cordial.

Lights flashing on them as they give their best,
Yet darkness inside them conspiring to put them at rest.

A precious life lost due to depression,
Was there no one to show compassion?
Followers on twitter and facebook he had a lot many,
but no true friend to reach out for -is the irony.

CORONAVIRUS

We were so casual a few months before,
Eating in our favourite restaurants and moving outdoor.
One virus has made us so handicapped,
With uncertainty and fear we are now trapped.

Life is shallow it has has conveyed to us.
Material gains and pursuits have become superfluous.
No room left for jealousy, hatred and ambition.
Personal safety is the only solution.

Little did we know that our life will change,
People wearing masks will no longer look strange.
We have done a lot of back biting,
Now its time for social distancing.

It instructs us to review our lives,
Rich or poor with no one it will sympathise.
Better sit at home and do your best
Weave your relationship and reveal emotions unexpressed.

A Military Wife

She was a civilian until she became a military wife,
Marching by his side to be
A true companion throughout life.

Having stayed and educated in a small town ,
she now moved to make the whole country her own .

Adapting and accepting any place to which he was sent ,
she became happy even though it meant to pitch their own tent.

Nervous she was when she attended her first dinner night ,
Meeting all the graceful fauji wives as they shared their insight.

Packing and unpacking saw the test of her patience,
Gathering wonderful memories as they moved to a new station .

Ladies meet and welfare became the order of the day ,
soon standing by her counterparts made her happy and gay .

She stepped out of the house to make herself known ,
Little did she realise that time had come to leave for a place unknown.

Getting a posting to a field was a torture ,

since it meant staying away from her soldier.

Army revealed to her a strength uncommon ,
Taking pride in herself and becoming a confident woman.
